Features
HR and payroll
Coming soonRun a payroll that already knows about PAYE, NSSF and NAPSA, and keep the leave record in the same system as the payslip.
One email when it ships. No newsletter.
What it will do
This module is designed and being built. The list below is the scope we are working to, not a screenshot of a finished product.
An employee record that is actually complete
Contract, start date, salary, next of kin, NSSF or NAPSA number and TIN in one place, with the signed documents attached to the record rather than in a drawer.
Payroll with the country's rules built in
PAYE bands, NSSF in Uganda and NAPSA in Zambia are applied for you. You check a run and approve it instead of rebuilding the same spreadsheet every month.
Payslips staff can open on a phone
Each payslip gets its own link showing gross pay, deductions and net, so nobody has to come to the office to find out what was paid and why.
Leave without the paper form
Staff request leave, a manager approves it and the balance updates, and the payroll run knows who was away and on what terms.
Statutory schedules without re-typing
Produce the monthly returns for the tax authority and the social security fund from the same run that produced the payslips.
Who it is for
- Businesses with five to fifty staff on a monthly payroll.
- Owners hand-calculating PAYE in a spreadsheet at the end of every month.
- Companies with staff in both Uganda and Zambia who want one system for both.
Questions about HR and payroll
When does it launch?
HR and payroll is the last module on the roadmap, because payroll has to be right before it is fast. Ask us to tell you when it ships.
Which plan includes it?
The Enterprise plan, at the price published today. Nothing changes for you when the module is switched on.
Will the tax rules be up to date?
The bands and contribution rates are configuration we update when URA, ZRA, NSSF or NAPSA changes them, and every payroll run records the rates it used so an old run can still be explained.
Be told when HR and payroll ships
Leave your email and we will write once, the week the module is switched on. Invoicing is live now if you would like to start there.
